The Golden Horseshoe Co-operative Housing Federation (GHCHF) is a co-operative association made up of member housing co-ops and related organizations in the Hamilton and Niagara Regions.
GHCHF is financed by annual membership dues, fees for services and revenue shared by CHF Canada.
GHCHF supports diversity in our community and the student members that work to represent that diversity are eligible to apply for scholarship awards.

From time to time co-ops run into difficulty and we are here to help. GHCHF answers questions on co-op by-laws and policy, day-to-day matters, community issues, planning, and other co-op related concerns.
When co-ops have exhausted trying to handle the conflict on their own we can provide mediators for disputes between individuals or groups in the co-op. GHCHF has skilled facilitators that can help your co-op work through issues and provide advice to the board about handling conflict.
GHCHF can provide an experienced chairperson for a members meeting or board meeting where an impartial chairperson is needed. This includes difficult meetings and special meetings.
